2-piece nets have the handle split into two sections that join together when assembled, an advantage for transporting them in the car or in a short rod holdall. Assembled they reach lengths of 1.80 to 2.40 metres, and there are models from Sonik, Fox, Mikado, Prologic, JRC or Solar with nets of 42, 46 or 50 inches.

Check the folded length to see if it fits your rod holdall, and the joint between sections, which should be firm and without play. 8 ft handles give more reach on high banks or with vegetation, and 6 ft ones give more ease in narrow swims.
