The Sonik Intelx offers four rod positions; the Carp Spirit set advertises two- and four-rod configurations. Confirm the number of bars, banksticks, threads and included bag.

Compare width, thread spacing, diameter, material, weight and compatibility with alarms, rests and banksticks. Four positions don't ensure room for every reel, and you don't have to use them all. Set up the assembly on firm ground, tighten without damaging the threads and check that reels and lines stay clear. Check the joints after transport and clean off dirt and moisture before storing the parts.
