PVA for carp fishing

PVA places a small amount of bait beside the rig. Solid bags enclose the complete presentation; mesh makes sticks or compact parcels; string and tape hold chains of boilies or close packages. Mesh diameter and bag size should match the bait volume and the cast.

Dissolution changes with material thickness and water temperature, so test it at the bank. Work with dry hands and tools. Not every liquid is PVA compatible: use oils or attractors whose product details state compatibility. Do not overload the bag, expel air when the presentation requires it and check before casting that hook and hooklink are positioned without piercing the material.
