Landing Net Meshes for Carp Fishing

To choose a replacement mesh, compare hoop opening, depth, mesh size, material and fastening system. It must match the arms or frame of the landing net and leave enough room to handle the fish without straining the seams.

A soft, well-maintained mesh helps reduce abrasion, but check knots, holes and rough patches before using it. Wet it before putting the carp in, and keep the fish in the water until the unhooking area is ready. Wash and dry the mesh after the session to prevent odours and deterioration.
