Landing Nets

Buy nets for carpfishing

The net is the last link in every catch: a wide net, with arms usually ranging from 36 to 50 inches and a one- or two-piece handle, that lets you land the carp without harming it. Besides complete nets, there are spare meshes, V-shaped heads, poles, floats and covers, from brands like Fox, Sonik, Zfish, Prologic, NGT or Nash.

In carpfishing the usual size is 42 inches, enough for most carp; with very large specimens or from a boat, 46 or 50 give more margin. A two-piece handle is easier to transport; choose a fine-mesh or rubber net to protect the fish.
