Carp fishing chairs

A chair for long sessions should be chosen by its measurements rather than its appearance. Check seat width and depth, backrest height and the maximum load stated by the manufacturer. Adjustable legs and mud feet help level it on uneven banks; a reclining back allows a change of position but adds weight and bulk.

If the swim is reached on foot, look at weight and folded dimensions. For a more static setup, a wide frame, padding and armrests may matter more. Also check the leg locks and whether the seat height makes it easy to stand up. A compact chair does not replace a bedchair when the session includes sleeping.
