Not all braided lines share the same stretch, buoyancy, stiffness or abrasion resistance. Check whether the product is intended for hooklink, leader, baiting or mainline use, and follow the recommended knot and tackle. Wet and test every connection before fishing, protect your hands when tightening, and check for nicks after use. Replace the damaged section and dispose of the line responsibly.
