Buy braided line for carpfishing
Braided line is a multi-fibre line with almost no stretch that in carpfishing is mainly used for tying leaders, in soft or coated versions, and also as main line for spod and marker, as shock leader or, with a lead core, as leadcore. It comes in short spools for leaders and in long lengths for the reel, from Fox, Korda, Nash, Ridge Monkey, Spomb or Katran.
For leaders, choose a soft braided line if you want naturalness or a coated one if you're after stiffness and fewer tangles, in colours that mimic the lakebed. For spod and marker, a thin, high-visibility braided line transmits vibrations better and casts further.
